Ж is a decentralized, 100% community-driven and community-owned art project about meme, cat, and crypto cultures, powered by the KULT token and governed by $KULT holders.

Ж places a strong emphasis on decentralization, fairness, transparency, community-driven content creation, open-source intellectual property, and long-term engagement and sustainability.

II - Mewtopia

II.1 Mewtopia

Mewtopia is a fictional universe in the Kitty Kult project, depicted as a legendary planet made from a giant ball of yarn, orbited by a silver yarn moon. It serves as the setting for a narrative involving cats and memes, where any entity entering is transformed into a kitty. The world is populated primarily by human-like cat characters, alongside meme-inspired entities viewed as superior beings with odd, unpredictable powers. These powers are granted upon entry, alongside the feline transformation. The central theme revolves around attempts to reach the moon, symbolizing transcendence and mastery over space and time, as per an ancient prophecy. Inhabitants, particularly the "degens," repeatedly fail in these efforts due to individualism, prompting the formation of the Kitty Kult to promote collaboration.

The lore originates from the "Big Meow," an event that shattered the Void and created space, time, matter, and ether from the Infinity Kitty (Felinus Maximus), a transcendent entity. Nine Weavers then forged the Sun from fire to bring life, the Moon from ice to protect it, and Mewtopia from yarn. Ancient Kitties received teachings from the Nine and ruled until mysteriously vanishing, leaving the prophecy: reaching the Moon unravels the Infinity Kitty's mysteries. Modern Mewtopians revere the Infinity Kitty and Moon, with degens seeking ultimate power through ascension. Rumors suggest some inhabitants are transformed humans from a parallel universe, accessing Mewtopia via a hidden gateway beneath the Moon's Temple after awakening their inner kitty power.

II.2 The Characters

Characters in Mewtopia include human-like cats, meme-inspired "superheroes" with flawed powers, antagonists, crypto key opinion leaders (KOLs) reimagined as cats, and public domain time-travelers. New characters are added regularly, starting with Kult, followed by community-selected meme-inspired ones. All DAO-created characters are licensed under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 for non-commercial use. The primary focus is on interactions to build stories, potentially for AI-assisted shorts.

II.2.a Main Character

Kult: The chaotic good leader of the Kitty Kult, a wicked yet lovable male cat in a black monk's robe with a moon symbol. He recruits degens to collaboratively reach the moon, worships at the Temple of Memes, and spreads Infinity Kitty teachings.

II.2.b Meme-Inspired Characters

These are imperfect superheroes with unpredictable powers. Some examples of possible meme-inspired characters:

II.2.e Time-Travelers

Public domain characters as non-cat visitors who join Mewtopia. For instance:

III - Backstory

In the beginning, a Big Meow shattered the Void, giving birth to space, time, matter, and ether.
This cosmic resonance emanated from the Infinity Kitty, the Felinus Maximus — a transcendent being beyond space and time, the source of everything and nothingness.

From the primordial stream of ether, infused with the wisdom of the Infinity Kitty, nine celestial beings came into existence.
Known as the Nine Weavers, these entities, flowing through dimensions, bended space and matter to forge the Three Orbs: the Sun, forged from fire, the Moon, sculpted from ice, and Mewtopia, spun from yarn.
Through the Sun, the Nine brought life to Mewtopia; through the Moon, they watched over and protected it.

The Nine passed down the sacred teachings of the Infinity Kitty to the Ancient Kitties, a circle of wise and venerable indigenous kitties who benevolently ruled over Mewtopia for centuries, until their mysterious disappearance, leaving behind only their teachings and echoes of mysteries.

In modern Mewtopia, their teachings endure, forming the bedrock of faith and culture. From these teachings, a prophecy emerged: whoever reaches the Moon will unravel the mysteries of Infinity Kitty, gaining mastery over space and time.

Today, most of Mewtopia's inhabitants continue to revere the Infinity Kitty and the Moon, their sacred guardian. But some yearn for more. They seek the ultimate power, the promise of transcendence, by reaching the Moon.
Many have tried; none have succeeded. Yet, despite countless failures, these dreamers persist. Their unwavering hope fuels their repeated attempts, convinced that one day, they will make it. These tenacious souls call themselves the Degens.

Among them is Kult, a devoted follower of the Infinity Kitty. He has spent his life worshipping the divine and striving to achieve the impossible — reaching the Moon. But Kult is different. To him, the Degens' repeated, solitary attempts are futile. "Insanity," he proclaims, "is doing the same thing over and over, expecting a different result."

Kult believes the Degens will never reach the Moon unless they abandon their individualistic ways and unite. To him, the only path forward is through collaboration, not competition. Driven by this conviction, he founded the Kitty Kult, a secret society of Degens who share his belief in the power of teamwork.

Each day, the Kultists work tirelessly to spread the teachings of the Infinity Kitty and to turn their shared dream of reaching the Moon into reality.

In Mewtopia, the Kult is both renowned and contentious. To some, its followers are naive idealists; to others, they are a potential threat, capable of destabilizing the delicate balance of the realm. Shrouded in mystery, the Kult has become the subject of countless rumors. One of these tales speaks of Kultists originating from a parallel universe, accessing Mewtopia through a hidden gateway beneath the Temple of the Moon.

These other-worldly beings are said to be tail-less, fur-less creatures known as humans. On exceedingly rare occasions, a very few among them achieve the wisdom to awaken their inner kitty and to channel its power with such an extraordinary intensity they synchronize with the ether of the Nine, allowing them to break through their universe’s space-time continuum and to pass through the Gate of the Unknown. In doing so, they transform into kitties, becoming indistinguishable from the native citizens of Mewtopia.

IV - AI Tools

IV.1 Image Generator

Our Telegram bot @KultifyAIBot in our Kitty_Kult_AI Telegram channel (https://t.me/Kitty_Kult_AI) generates Kult images via the /imagine command line.

Modifiers are supported:

  • --kultsize <small|medium|large|huge>: Forces Kult to scale up/down. Works better if you also add in the prompt indications about the Kult size. For instance: /imagine@KultifyAIBot Kult running on a beach. Make Kult small. --kultsize small (default is large).
  • --ar <1:1|16:9|9:16|21:9|9:21|4:3|3:4|2:3|3:2>: Changes the aspect ratio of the image (default is 1:1).
  • --guidance 1-20: Forces how much the AI should respect the prompt, from 1 to 20. The smaller the value, the more creative the AI can be. The higher the value, the more faithful to the prompt the AI will be (default is 15).

You can add an image to your prompt to use it as a reference to guide the AI. Just drag the image on your prompt when you are typing it. For instance, you can add Kult to an image, ask the AI to reproduce some sceneries, colors, shapes, etc.

Limits:

  • You can generate a maximum of 50 images an hour at the moment.
  • Once $KULT is live, the tool will be restricted to $KULT holders.

V - Kultify

V.1 What is Kultify?

Kultify is an application to reward the most active community members on X with monthly KULT token airdrops. Allocations are based on activity rankings, with more active users earning higher points and thus larger shares of the prize pool. The $KULT tokens are provided by the DAO and distributed by the DAO Committee. The system aims to incentivize genuine engagement, leveling the playing field between large and small accounts to encourage participation from all members.

V.2 How Does It Work?

Users must log in to the Kultify application, link either a Discord or Telegram account, and provide an Ethereum/Base wallet address to receive airdrops.

The monthly prize pool is 420,069,999 $KULT, capped at a maximum value of $99,999. When the pool's value is less than $9,999, it is shared among the top 50 ranked members. For every additional $5,000 in value beyond $9,999, the allocation extends to 15 more ranks.

Allocations scale with the project's market cap and follow a slightly exponential formula, where higher ranks receive larger shares (e.g., the top rank gets about 5 times more than the last eligible rank).

Points are earned through reposting the official Kitty Kult account or posting messages on X containing specific keywords like Kitty Kult, KittyKult, Join The Kult, JoinTheKult, or $KULT.

VI - NFT Collections

The Kitty Kult DAO intends to release limited NFT collections featuring characters from Mewtopia. Releases could occur regularly, tentatively annually. Each collection would be airdropped to the top 1,000 $KULT holders at the snapshot time.

NFTs would be free, with no creator fees. They would serve as profile pictures for social networks and have no functional value. All items in a collection have identical rarity to promote fairness and fun, without speculative elements.

Formats may include 2D or 3D, rigged or not, determined by DAO decisions.

VII - Tokenomics

VII.1 100% Community-Owned

  • 100% of the circulating supply is owned by the holders or locked in a liquidity pool.
  • 100% of the non-circulating supply is controlled by the holders through the Kitty Kult DAO. (To make these tokens circulating requires votes by the DAO. All the DAO-controlled tokens are held in 3-of-5 multisig wallets operated by stewards elected by the DAO.)
  • 100% of the launch pool liquidity is locked.
  • Contract is renounced.

VII.2 Fairly Launched

  • 100% of ETH liquidity for launch has been provided by the Ж community over 8 months, by over 1,000 people, with no private sale, no VC, no insiders.
  • 34% of the token supply has been distributed to the liquidity providers proportionally to the liquidity they provided, with no whale owning more than 1.2% of the supply at TGE.
  • 100% of the ETH liquidity raised by the community has been added to the Uniswap pool at TGE.
  • Token listing price is lower than the price paid by the TGE liquidity providers.

VII.3 No Selling Pressure at Launch

  • The whole circulating supply is added to the Uniswap pool at launch.
  • The only way to get $KULT is to buy them on Uniswap.
  • The liquidity providers will only receive their tokens one month after launch and only 50% of them. The remaining 50% will be distributed one month later.
  • If a liquidity provider sells, they'll forfeit their remaining tokens which will be burned instead.
  • If the liquidity providers don't sell their tokens for 3 months, they'll receive a 36% bonus to incite them to keep holding.
  • We have more than $10,000 in stablecoins to support our launch. No tokens have to be sold to pay for CoinMarketCap, CoinGecko, BaseScan, DexTools, DexScreener, etc.

VII.4 No Team/Dev Wallet

  • There is no team/dev wallet. The whole supply belongs to the holders.
  • The Kitty Kult official teams are elected by the DAO and any $KULT allocation to compensate them is decided and voted by the DAO.

VII.5 Deflationary

  • 100% of all the $KULT collected from the Uniswap pools fees are burned.
  • 100% of the tokens forfeited by liquidity providers who sold their tokens are burned.
  • 100% of the unclaimed, forfeited or unused holders rewards are burned.

VII.6 Fully Transparent

  • The Kult is a DAO fully controlled by the holders. Every spending of the treasury, every change to the project is proposed, discussed and voted by the community.
  • The DAO wallets are clearly labelled and their funds can be tracked publicly on the blockchain.

VIII - Team

Ж functions without a central authority and is governed by $KULT holders. Teams — such as those focused on art, communication, engineering, and marketing — are elected by the DAO and restricted to actions it approves.

To ensure the project safety, DAO wallets employ a 3-of-5 multisig setup, with keys held by well-known and highly engaged community members elected by the DAO. The current key holders are BK, Cruth, Izarex, Rygel, and Zorden.
